Due to the recent escalation of regional tensions in the Middle East, as of early March 2026, Japan Post and private shipping companies (FedEx, DHL, UPS) have temporarily suspended all shipments to the affected region.
Affected Areas:
UAE, Israel, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon
Additional countries may be added depending on airline and logistics restrictions.
Reason for Suspension
- Closure of airspace across multiple Middle Eastern countries
- Large‑scale flight cancellations and operational suspensions by airlines and freight carriers
- Increased transportation risk and instability in regional logistics networks
Depending on further developments, Japan Post and private shipping companies may be forced to return already accepted shipments to affected areas.
As a result, flights to and from neighboring regions, such as Europe and Africa, are heavy congestion, resulting in longer delivery times.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding during this challenging situation.
We regret to inform that due to changes in the customs clearance process for parcels arriving from abroad to the United States in accordance with the US government regulation, currently, Japan Post (EMS, Airmail, Surface mail) has suspended accepting parcels to the United States.
Currently sending parcels to the USA is only possible via private courier companies (FedEx, DHL, UPS).
